I remember the feeling of going into the library as a kid. I loved being surrounded by books, each full of possibilities. I read everything I could find on ships, flags, practical engineering, the Middle Ages, and more. In the digital age, so much more information is at my fingertips, but I still enjoy sitting down with a book and a coffee. Despite knowing the comfort and calm that reading brings, I still struggle to make the time. I set a goal to read at least 12 books a year. I will often read more, but making a plan helps me direct my self-growth. I aim to share the books I read for professional development and leisure and my thoughts on how they intersect with other aspects of my life.
