As I process the results of the 2024 elections, I am flooded with feelings of helplessness, betrayal, and despair. As many point fingers, others try to keep the embers of hope alive.
When selecting books for the next reading challenge, I wanted to tie into what I saw in the aftermath of the campaigns and the calm before the return of the MAGA regime. I chose books about politics, history, and how to survive and live when the world around you is not the world one wants to live in. One that, as a matter of policy, values the few and blames the many.
